Now running · A Lawu Media project

Project CPT

Paki Lawu leaves Johannesburg on foot and doesn’t stop until Cape Town. Every kilometre is for prostate cancer awareness.

– days – hours – minutes

Send-off 21 November 2026 · 21 November to 19 December 2026

“I lost my grandfather to cancer. Now I’m running across South Africa in his honour.”

Paki Lawu, founder and runner
  1. Movember, on purpose

The run starts in the heart of Movember, while the country is already talking about men’s health.

  2. Caught early, it’s survivable

Prostate cancer is among the most survivable cancers when it’s found early. The run exists to get men tested.

  3. A question a day

Will he make it? Asked daily for a month, that’s what turns a run into a story the country follows.

  4. Every town is a stage

Locals run stretches alongside Paki, and the finish in Cape Town becomes a public arrival.
